Big Announcement Time
/We have lots of juicy updates for you and it’s about time that we share them.
First, Gray Oak Studio is happy to share that Leah Hook is taking on the new role of CEO and continuing her role as Principal Designer. And, she has already grown the Gray Oak team with two new design assistants who you will meet on Instagram one of these days! Always check the stories. The stories have the good stuff. AND, there’s more, Gray Oak has a new social media manager, who is responsible for the amazing reels that you’re hopefully enjoying! But, don’t worry - it’s Leah responding to your comments, answering your DMs and writing all the disarmingly witty captions.
One more new hire that cannot go unmentioned is the addition of Leah’s dog, Ginny, to the team. Ginny has humbly accepted the role of Sofa Tester.
While we are incredibly excited for this new chapter, we want to take a moment to wish Sonia the best in whatever comes next.
Next up on the list of announcements: We are moving. You may have already learned this through spoilers on Instagram stories (again - stories are where it’s all spilled). The move will take most of the summer as the new office is renovated, then furnished, then inundated with fabric samples. As soon as the lint settles, we will share our address…which will be important…more on that in a minute.
We also previously mentioned the addition of a new design service on the horizon. The horizon is here and that new service is Bookshelf Styling. You asked for it (and then asked more) and we’ve finally put together a plan that will be fun, personalized and add that “wow” factor to your home. The details are on our services page (scroll down!).
And last, but maybe best, we are going to let you shop our stockroom…monthly. No more waiting until the once a year Tent Sale only to realize it’s on the same weekend as your cousin’s bridal shower. The plan will be to open our stockroom to all the decor lovers one set day a month (hypothetically, the first Friday). There will be a regular section of all the decor we use for our ongoing full service and bookshelf styling projects and there will be a “tent sale” section full of deeply discounted items. As soon as we’re settled in our new space, we will share the details.
