You're ready to redesign your home - the layout is crazy, the lack of organization has become a safety hazard and the wall color was the prior homeowner's choice. But, the process of achieving your dream home is overwhelming. Should you move the couch or the wall? Get a new rug or install shiplap? What exactly is shiplap?! That's where we come in. Whether you need a full-scale renovation or an inspired room makeover, the Gray Oak Studio team is ready for your challenge. We will simplify and streamline the process as we inform your decisions and guide your path to a beautifully curated, functional home that you truly love. (We can even define shiplap, if you're interested)

This is a time-based service, not a project-based one, which means we’ll dive deep into your top priorities and give you as much expert guidance as possible in the time allotted.

What’s Included:

  • Pre-Consultation Questionnaire
    Once your date is booked and deposit paid, we’ll send you a shared Google Doc with a few questions about your design goals, style preferences, and priorities. This is a space to tell us more about your home and what you’re hoping to achieve—functionally and aesthetically. You can drop in a Pinterest link (no pressure if you don’t have one) and upload any inspiration images. This helps us prep for our onsite time and bring the right materials (paint decks, wallpaper samples, etc.).

  • 1-Hour Onsite Consultation
    Leah and one lead designer will come onsite for a one-hour session to tackle as much of your list as possible starting with your highest priorities. It’s a fast-paced brainstorm filled with ideas, layout tips, sourcing suggestions, and styling advice. We’ll have A LOT to share, but don’t worry about bringing a notebook because we take notes throughout your consultation and you’ll be able to access them immediately. Because this is a time-based session, we may not get to everything, so please prioritize your questions and spaces in advance.

  • Studio Time (For Larger Packages Only)
    If you choose one of our extended packages, Leah and a lead designer will spend additional time after the consultation developing custom follow-up notes based on your project needs. These may include:

    • Layout drawings

    • Design boards or inspiration imagery

    • Product links and sourcing suggestions

    • Styling notes or shopping guidance

Please note: This is a DIY-focused service. We provide ideas, sources, and guidance and then you bring them to life. We do not provide specific sourcing for exact furnishings (e.g., “84” Addison sofa in heathered gray performance linen from Pottery Barn”). Instead, we guide you toward style, shape, size, and retailers so you can find the right piece for your style, space, and family.

The Reset – $750

  • 1-hour in-home consultation

  • 1 hour of studio follow-up

  • Great for 1-2 focused spaces

The Reimagine – $1,200

  • 1-hour in-home consultation

  • 3 hours of studio follow-up

  • Perfect for 3+ rooms, whole-home overviews, renovation guidance, or move-in support

Logistics & Booking:

  • A $300 deposit is required to reserve your spot; the balance is due on the date of the consultation or upon delivery of your follow-up materials (if applicable).

  • This service is available in towns within a 30-minute drive of Lynnfield, MA. Locations beyond that radius will incur a $50 travel fee or be offered virtually.
