Lead Designer
Sarah brings experience, perspective, and a strong design sensibility to every project. She joined Gray Oak Studio in 2022, but her passion for design started much earlier, from taking design classes with her mom in high school to studying wedding planning in college before realizing she wanted a more balanced, home-focused career.
After time in corporate America, Sarah followed her instincts into the design world, working at Pottery Barn, completing their design program, and eventually becoming a Design Manager, creating full-room designs for clients. After having her daughters, she transitioned into interior staging before being introduced to Gray Oak Studio, where she grew into her current role. Sarah loves a good design challenge and enjoys styling spaces that feel personal and layered. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with family and friends, cheering on basketball (especially the Celtics and youth teams), and spending time with her three dogs, Ben, Kevin, and Kate.
